For this article, I reached out to various policy makers in Maryland, and experts in LGBTQ+ rights for transgender personnel. Through the multiple interviews/statements I collected, I was able to offer a comprehensive understanding of how Maryland was reacting to the policy, and what, if anything, the state was doing to fight against it.
